FCRA / Non-Consumer-Reporting Notice

Vortoc is not a "consumer reporting agency," and its Services and Lead Data are not "consumer reports," as those terms are used in the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq. Vortoc does not intend, design, or furnish its products for determining a consumer's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or tenancy, government benefits, licensing, or another purpose regulated by the FCRA or analogous state law.

Strict prohibition

Customer may not use or provide Lead Data, alone or with other information, for underwriting, loan prequalification, credit limits, collection strategy, or credit marketing based on eligibility; insurance underwriting or pricing; employment, contractor, volunteer, or credential screening; tenant, housing, or property-access screening; government-benefit or educational eligibility; a background check or assessment of character, reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living for an eligibility decision; or any other FCRA permissible purpose, because Vortoc does not furnish consumer reports for such purposes.

No workarounds

Customer may not attempt to convert Lead Data into a consumer report, represent Vortoc as a consumer reporting agency, request adverse-action support, or evade the restriction through a third party. Disclaimers do not cure an actual FCRA-covered use; Vortoc will suspend suspected misuse.

Acknowledgment

By ordering, Customer acknowledges: "I will not use Vortoc data for credit, insurance, employment, housing, tenant screening, background checks, or any other FCRA-regulated eligibility purpose."
