Acceptable Use Policy
Customer must use Vortoc lawfully, transparently, securely, and in a manner that respects individuals.
Permitted uses
Subject to contract and law: internal market research; lawful business-development planning; respectful professional-service outreach using a lawful channel; record verification; customer relationship management; and aggregate analytics that do not expose individuals.
Prohibited uses
Customer may not use Lead Data for an FCRA or eligibility purpose; harass, threaten, shame, manipulate, stalk, discriminate, or exploit vulnerability; misrepresent identity, affiliation, source, urgency, government status, or consumer interest; contact a person after opt-out or around applicable quiet hours; use regulated automated calling or texting technology without required consent; solicit legal services in violation of bar rules or contact represented parties unlawfully; make discriminatory housing, credit, employment, insurance, or service decisions; target based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, familial status, age, veteran status, genetic information, or another protected trait; locate victims, witnesses, jurors, minors, protected addresses, or persons at risk; commit fraud, identity theft, credential abuse, or unauthorized surveillance; scrape, bulk export beyond plan limits, defeat access controls, probe security, introduce malware, or interfere with the Services; resell, publish, sublicense, or share Lead Data except as expressly allowed; merge data to create sensitive dossiers, infer protected traits, or reidentify protected data; upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or unnecessarily sensitive material; use Vortoc branding or source names to imply endorsement; or help another person do any prohibited act.
Enforcement
Vortoc may investigate, restrict, suspend, delete, report, or terminate prohibited use, and may preserve and disclose evidence where the law permits. Report abuse to [email protected].
